Homegrown has helped me connect with and appreciate the Filipino culture. It’s great to see the different skills set and style of play.

I grew up watching my 2 older brothers play, so naturally I developed a love for the sport. They don’t take it easy on me at all so I’m used to the physicality.

I take a deep breath and visualise the outcome that I want. I also remind myself that I have done all the training and preparation prior, so it’s nothing new.
