How has Homegrown/AUBA/MIC/SBB helped you with your basketball journey?

I met Reymon from AUBA Perth when he came up to Cairns for a Philippines National Championship. Through him, I discovered a whole new world of Philippine basketball here in Australia and was given the unique opportunity to play for the Under 19 girls National team for Homegrown basketball. This has opened another door to a pathway that I never dreamed of. Going to the Melbourne Homegrown camp and meeting Coach Michael was an amazing experience, he is extremely knowledgeable and I’m excited to develop under him.

How do you handle pressure during crucial moments in a game?

I’ve been in crucial moments during games and been on both ends after the game. The best way I handle pressure is to lock in and focus on playing my part when on the court. When on the bench I like to come out with energy for the girls on the court, cheering them on.

How do you keep your fitness and skill levels up during the off-season?

I still keep a busy schedule during the off-season to keep myself fit, and basketball skills up to standard. My week usually consists of two sessions of weights and conditioning, two sessions of one-on-one with a coach, or partner sessions, along with the club games once every week. And on mornings where I’m open I take myself to the courts for light shooting.
