How has Homegrown/AUBA/MIC/SBB helped you with your basketball journey?

Homegrown has provided me with access to an elite coaching staff who have helped me refine my skills, develop strategic game plans, and improve my overall understanding of the sport. Additionally, being a part of Homegrown has further enhanced my performance on the court by providing us with
scrimmages to test my skills against tougher opponents. Homegrown has allowed me to meet new girls and has reignited my love and motivation for basketball.

How do you handle pressure during crucial moments in a game?

I handle pressure by trusting in the training I’ve done and understanding that if I want to succeed, I must train harder so that the game becomes easier. To think about the next play. What can I do to help the team on the next play and the play after that. Because no one remembers the mistakes, it’s what you do next. I trust in my experience and that I’ve made some clutch shots before and living with the result. By focusing on the present, the pressure waives away especially during crucial moments in a game. As I’ve done the training, all that’s left to do is to trust in it.

What do you enjoy doing when you're not playing or practicing basketball?

When I’m not playing or practicing basketball, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Whether it’s a night out for dinner, or a stay at home movie. I enjoy the laughter we share, the memories we make that I know will last a lifetime. I love the invaluable social interactions with my loved ones and it makes me feel loved and secure, knowing I have people in my corner. I have people who have my back and will support me no matter what. So when I’m stressed out with basketball and school studies, I have my people who can relieve that stress and make life more enjoyable for me.
