Homegrown has allowed me to play basketball continuously at a high level and has given me the opportunity to play with people sharing similar backgrounds on the court.

My favorite player is Kobe Bryant. What can I say, he’s Kobe Bryant. His love and feel for the game, how he can make any shot, and most importantly his mentality is what drew me towards him. I just like the way he approaches the game. Uses a lot of his IQ and is a student of the game and I really adore that. The way he can break down defenders and is basically THAT guy every time down the floor.

I play point guard and I enjoy it because I can dictate the game. The game runs at my pace and when you can control that you control the game. Also, I like to be in the leading spot and use my IQ to get my teammates involved and also be the coach on the floor. Point guard is the best because you play defense, run the offense, and be the floor general of the team.
