Being apart MIC & Homegrown has opened up so many exciting opportunities for me. It’s challenged me and exposed me to a new perspective of the game which has helped me develop and grow as a player. Most importantly, I’ve formed so many new connections and created friendships that I know will last.

I’ve always been around basketball since I was little, but only picked it up in year 6 during inter school sports. It was the first time I’d played an organised game and loved the competition and team atmosphere. I enjoyed every aspect of the it and basketball quickly became the highlight of my week.

This season I want to become a more confident and consistent player. I want to be able to handle high pressure situations really well and be a really strong player mentally.
