As the official Australian partner of NBTC and Hoops Global, Homegrown Basketball Australia is the long standing, recognised pathway for Australian-based athletes to participate in these prestigious events. Since 2016, Homegrown has played a pivotal and consistent role in paving the way for Australian teams and academies to gain international exposureโ€”shaping opportunities for emerging players to compete and grow beyond local borders.

Tryout Categories:

Boys:

  • U12 (Born 2013-2014) – 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
  • U14 (Born 2011-2012) – 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
  • U16 (Born 2009-2010) – 11:40 AM to 1:40 PM

Girls:

  • U16 (Born 2009-2010) – 11:40 AM to 1:40 PM
  • U19 (Born 2006-2007) – 11:40 AM to 1:40 PM

What to bring:

  • Reversible shirt / jersey (dark/white)
  • Bottled water
  • Your own basketball

By registering, you agree to the following: The $40 tryout fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee selection to any team. Selected players will be notified and are expected to commit to all training sessions and tour requirements if selected. Homegrown Basketball is not liable for any injuries, loss or damage to personal property incurred during the tryout or related activities. Media (photos/videos) captured during the tryout may be used by Homegrown Basketball for promotional and marketing purposes. All players must adhere to the Homegrown Basketball code of conduct at all times. Parent/Guardian Consent: By completing this registration, the parent/guardian confirms that they understand and accept all the above terms, and give permission for their child to participate in the tryout.
